Description

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups plus 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1 large cold egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup pastel Easter M&Ms
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips or chunks
  • ¼ cup pastel sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl; stir well and set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a separate large bowl until light and fluffy, about three minutes.
  4. Add the cold egg and vanilla extract, blending until fully combined.
  5. Combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients on low speed until just mixed.
  6. Fold in the Easter M&Ms and white chocolate chips by hand.
  7. Shape the cookies with a scoop, gently pressing tops into sprinkles before placing on baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on baking sheet, adding extra candies while warm if desired.
