- 2–3 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts or Thighs
- 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup (condensed)
- 2 cups Chicken Broth (or Vegetable Broth)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1–2 tablespoons Non-Alcoholic Cooking White Wine Substitute or extra chicken broth
- 1 packet Dry Gravy Mix (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- Black Pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried Thyme or Poultry Seasoning
- Salt (to taste)
- 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour or Cornstarch (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Crockpot: Lightly spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- Lay the Chicken: Arrange your chicken breasts (or thighs) at the bottom of your crockpot.
- Whisk the Gravy Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, and the non-alcoholic wine substitute.
- Season It Up: Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and thyme into your gravy mixture.
- Pour Over Chicken: Drizzle the gravy mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Set and Forget: Put the lid on your slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the Chicken: Remove the chicken and shred it with forks.
- Thicken the Gravy (optional): Whisk cornstarch into a cup of hot liquid and return it to the crockpot.
- Return and Serve: Fold the shredded chicken back into the gravy and warm through.
- Taste and Adjust: Before serving, taste the gravy and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Serve It Up: Ladle into bowls and enjoy!
