- 4 pieces of boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup (100 g) of finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (120 g) of breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 cup (240 ml) of heavy cream
- 2 tbsp of olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound them to about one-inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with two shallow bowls: one for beaten eggs and the other for breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.
- Dip each chicken piece into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the breaded chicken on a greased baking sheet, ensuring space between pieces.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/75°C). Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crunch.
- While chicken bakes, heat olive oil or melt butter in a saucepan. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the chicken drizzled with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with parsley.
