- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup buffalo-style hot sauce
- 8 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the tofu by pressing it for 15 to 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu into uniform 1-inch cubes.
- Coat the tofu with cornstarch, soy sauce, avocado oil, paprika, and garlic powder in a medium bowl.
- Cook the tofu in a preheated non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Prepare the Buffalo sauce by melting butter in a small saucepan and stirring in hot sauce.
- Coat the crispy tofu in the Buffalo sauce.
- Combine the chopped romaine and croutons in a large bowl, drizzle with Caesar dressing, and toss.
- Serve the salad topped with the Buffalo tofu and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For best results, do not overcrowd the pan while cooking the tofu. Serve immediately for optimal crispiness.
