Description
A comforting bowl of ramen with a creamy garlic broth, tender chicken, and vibrant vegetables.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 packs of ramen noodles
- 1 cup fresh vegetables (e.g., spinach, carrots, bell pepper)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts, browning them on both sides until fully cooked (about 6-8 minutes per side). Remove the chicken from the pot and set it aside to rest.
- Lower the heat to low, and in the same pot, toss in the minced garlic. Stir until fragrant—be careful not to let it burn!
- Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add the ramen noodles to the simmering broth, cooking them according to package instructions, usually around 3-4 minutes.
- While the noodles are cooking, dice the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces. Return the chicken to the pot, along with your fresh vegetables, stirring until well incorporated.
- Pour in the heavy cream, gently simmering until everything is warm, creamy, and beautifully combined.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Spoon the ramen into bowls, garnishing each with chopped green onions.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prep chicken and vegetables a day in advance and store them separately in the fridge.
