Description

A comforting bowl of creamy beef pasta enveloped in a rich, velvety sauce, perfect for cozy nights with loved ones.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté diced onion and minced garlic until the onion turns translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it up and cooking until browned, about 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Lower the heat to a simmer, stir in heavy cream, and add reserved pasta water until reaching desired consistency. Mix in grated Parmesan until melted.
  5. Fold in cooked penne pasta, ensuring all pasta is coated with sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan or fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Consider adding sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or different cheese varieties for customization. Prepare the sauce a day in advance for quicker cooking.
