Description

A delightful and indulgent dessert featuring layers of strawberry cake, creamy pudding, fresh strawberries, and a rich chocolate drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Box of Strawberry Cake Mix (15.25 oz)
  • Additional ingredients to make the cake (water, oil, and eggs as per box instructions)
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 2 (3.3 oz) boxes of instant white chocolate pudding mix
  • 8 oz tub of Cool Whip
  • 12 ounces of strawberries, quartered
  • 7 oz melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cake mix box. Prepare your 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Combine the strawberry cake mix with the additional ingredients in a mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for approximately 28-32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Remove the cake and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes. Use the handle of a spoon to poke holes evenly across the surface.
  5. Whisk together the instant white chocolate pudding mix and 4 cups of milk until smooth. If it thickens too much, add a splash more milk.
  6. Pour the pudding mixture over the warm cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes you’ve created.
  7. Spread the Cool Whip evenly over the pudding layer.
  8. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top and arrange the quartered strawberries.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to meld and the cake to chill.

Notes

Make-ahead: Can be prepared a day in advance. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to a week.
