Description

A delightful casserole combining classic cheeseburger flavors with crunchy French fries and gooey cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard.
  4. Layer half of the frozen French fries in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the fries.
  6. Drizzle beef broth over the beef layer.
  7. Layer the remaining fries on top.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over everything.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Can be made ahead and refrigerated. For a crispier finish, consider using an air fryer.
