Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  4. Fold in the diced apples and caramel sauce into the cheesecake mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture over the crust and spread evenly. Dust cinnamon on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into bars. Drizzle additional caramel for serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free graham crackers. Chill the bars for better flavor development.
