- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
- Fold in the diced apples and caramel sauce into the cheesecake mixture.
- Pour the mixture over the crust and spread evenly. Dust cinnamon on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars. Drizzle additional caramel for serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free graham crackers. Chill the bars for better flavor development.
