Description

Transform simple carrots into a sweet and buttery side dish with these Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the carrot sticks, stirring gently to coat them in the melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the carrots and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add water to help create the glaze.
  5. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the carrots are fork-tender, stirring occasionally.
