Description

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with butter or oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and optional cinnamon. Use a whisk to mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract, mixing until everything binds together into a wet dough.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to crush them.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, pressing it slightly for an even layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown.
  7. Allow the dish to cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares or bars.
