Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 x 226 g cans refrigerated crescent rolls or crescent dough sheets
  • 226 g cream cheese, softened
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup blueberries

Instructions

  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them out into rectangles on your prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Combine blueberries and lemon juice, then spoon the mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to create a Danish shape.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl to create a glaze and drizzle over the warm Danish after cooling slightly.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the filling a day in advance. Serve with coffee or yogurt for a perfect pairing.
