Description

Golden-brown, flaky croissants filled with savory ham and gooey cheese, perfect for brunch or a quick snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh Croissants
  • Sliced Ham
  • Sliced Cheese (Swiss or Cheddar)
  • Dijon Mustard (optional)
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard inside each croissant, if desired.
  4. Layer ham and cheese inside the croissants.
  5. Place croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the croissants.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

Assemble croissants a day ahead and store in the fridge. Bake fresh the next day.
