- Sliced Ham
- Sliced Cheese (Swiss or Cheddar)
- Dijon Mustard (optional)
- 1 Egg
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the croissants in half.
- Spread Dijon mustard inside each croissant, if desired.
- Layer ham and cheese inside the croissants.
- Place croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the croissants.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Assemble croissants a day ahead and store in the fridge. Bake fresh the next day.
