Description

These delicious stuffed mushrooms combine the savory flavors of bacon with creamy cheeses and fresh spinach, making them the perfect appetizer for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp cloth and removing the stems.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Combine bacon, sautéed spinach, cream cheese, ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl, stirring until well blended.
  6. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheesy filling, pressing down gently.
  7. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is golden.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can prepare the stuffed mushrooms ahead of time and bake them just before serving. Consider air frying them for a quicker cooking alternative.
